About the game
Cthulhu Wars: Great Old One Pack Two brings four new Great Old Ones to the already epic Cthulhu war. Each faction can claim one of them in order of arrival, but if a player defeats a Great Old One, it can be reawakened by another. Each creature has a unique ability and a spellbook that changes the flow of the game. Atlach‑Nacha, for example, lets you place web tokens in areas; if you manage to connect a full chain, you win the game with the book. Bokrug doesn’t vanish when killed; instead you must place it in an area with no enemies during cleanup, but the game forces one of your cultists to be removed—you can pass Bokrug to an opponent to transfer that loss. Father Dagon offers a move that pushes enemy units from the shore into the deep sea, and when you possess his book, you sacrifice a cultist each turn for power. Ghatanothoa, meanwhile, mummifies enemy cultists; his book speeds up that effect even more. The pack expands the mechanics of action points, area movement, dice rolling, and variable player powers, keeping the horror atmosphere and miniature aesthetic fans love. If you already own the base game, Pack Two is a powerful addition that raises complexity and replayability, offering new strategies and epic challenges.
