About the game
What you do in a play session
Brace yourself for an intensified war in the Cyclades archipelago with the Titans expansion! This second wave of content for the base game introduces a new board featuring larger islands, promising even more epic ground battles. Tension is in the air, and now, with 6 great Greek cities vying for supremacy, the conflict is fiercer than ever.
The main highlight is the addition of the Titans, colossal figures from Greek mythology who now enter the fray. These imposing miniatures (up to three times larger than the standard ones!) can launch attacks without Ares's blessing, adding a new strategic layer and overwhelming destructive power. They are the icing on the cake for those seeking a more aggressive and impactful experience.
Titans also expands the player count to up to 6, introducing team-based gameplay modes. For 3 to 5 players, the competitive 'every man for himself' mode remains, with the goal of building two Metropolises. For 4 or 6 players, team play in pairs is an option (mandatory with 6 players), where the team's objective is to accumulate three Metropolises. If you enjoy the original Cyclades and crave more action, combat, and the striking presence of the Titans, this expansion is a must-have!
