In Demi Cut, you and up to three friends become video editors living in the futuristic digital city of Silicron. An urgent request from the real world lands on your desk, and the race against the clock begins: craft the most creative and efficient audiovisual production before the deadline runs out. Each player has a personal Timeline where they combine Video, Text and Music sequences, perform color corrections, add transitions and apply strategic effects. Media Bin space is limited, making hand management vital – deciding which clips to keep and which to discard can swing the game.
During the rounds you complete scripts, generate renders, expand your Editing Island and cope with round modifiers such as tight deadlines or end‑game bonuses. The board works as a grid where you place media tiles, and worker placement lets you perform actions like gathering resources, producing effects or improving edit quality. The goal is to amass the most Victory Points, earned from the quality of your video, collected sets, and end‑game bonuses. When the final deadline hits, only one video is approved for delivery to the real world – and the player with the highest score is crowned the most talented editor in Silicron. The game blends tile placement, pattern building, set collection and resource management, all wrapped in an audiovisual production theme that will please both strategy gamers and film‑buffs.
