Dobro Pixar: Os Incríveis Promo Pack — How to Play

Game Objective

In Dobro, players participate in a card duel where the goal is to accumulate the highest score at the end of 3 rounds. To do this, you must try to collect as many cards as possible in your Score Pile during the Climbs.

Setup

1. Place the Direction Card on the table with the "clockwise" side facing up.
2. Shuffle the Numbered Cards and deal 6 to each player (or 5 cards each, if the game is for 6 players).
3. Form a face-down Draw Pile next to the Direction Card.
4. Place the Forgot Card next to the Draw Pile.
5. Randomly choose a player to start the first Climb of the round.

Game Flow

A game is divided into 3 rounds. Each round consists of several Climbs.

The Climb

During a Climb, players play cards on the table, always trying to increase the current value. A Climb ends when a player cannot or does not want to play a card that increases the current value. When this happens, that player collects all the cards on the table into their Score Pile and starts a new Climb.

End of the Round

The round ends immediately when the Draw Pile is exhausted and a player empties their hand. At that moment, the remaining cards in the players' hands and the cards on the table are discarded, and scoring proceeds.

Actions and How to Play

On your turn, you must perform one of the following actions:

1. Play a card: Play a card with a value equal to or greater than the current value. If the card's value is equal to the current value, the value doubles.
2. Play two cards: Play two cards of the same value whose sum is equal to or greater than the current value. If the sum is equal to the current value, the value doubles.
3. Play a special card: Use the abilities of the special cards (see below).
4. Take the cards: If you cannot or do not want to play cards, you must take all the cards in play and place them in your Score Pile.

Important Rules:

• The player who starts a Climb may play one or two identical cards of any value.
• After playing cards, you must announce the new current value and refill your hand up to 6 cards (or 5, if there are 6 players) from the Draw Pile.
• Special Card Effects:
  • Wild: Choose a value between 2 and 12 that is equal to or greater than the current value. If it is equal, the value doubles. It can be played with another card to add values.
  • Skip: The current value remains the same.
  • Reverse Direction: Has the same effect as Skip and changes the face of the Direction Card.
• Oops! I Forgot!: If you end your turn without refilling your hand to 6 cards, you must take the Forgot Card and place it in front of you. It stays there until another player forgets to refill their hand or the round ends. Whoever ends the Climb with this card loses 1 point.

End of Game and Scoring

Round Scoring

At the end of the round, players count the number of cards in their Score Piles. Scoring is distributed according to position (who has the most cards):

• 1st place: 1 point.
• 2nd place: 2 points.
• 3rd place: 3 points.
• 4th place: 4 points.
• 5th place: 5 points.
• 6th place: 6 points.

Note: In case of a tie in the number of cards, all tied players receive the points for that position and the next position is skipped.

Penalty: The player who ends the Climb with the Forgot Card loses 1 point.

End of Game

After 3 rounds, the player with the highest total score wins. In case of a tie, the winner is the one with fewer cards in the third round. If the tie persists, the players split the victory.
