Objective of the Game
In Dune: CHOAM & Richese, players take on the roles of House Richese and CHOAM, two factions vying for power and influence on Arrakis. House Richese seeks to regain its status as a manufacturer of cutting-edge technology, while CHOAM aims to leverage its economic dominance to control spice production and undermine the Emperor’s rule. The goal is to outmaneuver opponents, accumulate resources, and achieve victory through strategic alliances, battles, and economic manipulation. The game ends when one faction fulfills its victory conditions, which may include controlling key territories, accumulating spice, or leveraging unique faction abilities.
Preparation (Setup)
Before starting the game, follow these steps to incorporate the CHOAM & Richese expansion:
- Add the 2 new Faction Sets (CHOAM and Richese) to the existing factions. Each set includes:
- 1x Player Shield
- 1x Player Sheet
- 1x Player Marker
- 5x Leader Discs
- 20x Forces
- 2x Alliance Cards
- Richese receives 3 No-Field Tokens, and CHOAM receives 1 Inflation Token.
- Add 11 Traitor Cards to the Traitor Deck, removing cards for factions not in play.
- Add 2 Prediction Cards to the Bene Gesserit Prediction Deck.
- Optionally, use 14 Leader Skill Cards and 6 Stronghold Cards for advanced variants.
- Replace or add 2 Treachery Cards and 2 updated Karama Cards.

Fluxo do Jogo
The game progresses through a series of turns, each consisting of multiple phases. Players take actions during these phases to deploy forces, acquire resources, and engage in battles. Key phases include:
- Bidding Round: Players bid on Treachery Cards, with Richese auctioning their unique cards.
- Shipment and Movement: Players deploy forces to Arrakis and move them across territories.
- Battle Phase: Conflicts are resolved using Battle Plans, leaders, and Treachery Cards.
- Revival: Players revive lost forces, with CHOAM and Richese having unique revival rules.
- CHOAM Charity: Spice is distributed, with CHOAM collecting additional spice.

Richese
- No-Field Tokens: Use these tokens to deploy forces secretly and confuse opponents.
- Black Market: Auction Treachery Cards from your hand for spice.
- Bidding: Auction Richese Treachery Cards at the start of the Bidding Round.
CHOAM
- Charity: Collect 2 spice per faction during CHOAM Charity.
- Treachery: Discard duplicate Treachery Cards for spice or special effects.
- Inflation: Double or cancel CHOAM Charity for a turn using the Inflation Token.

The game ends when a faction meets its victory conditions, which may include controlling key territories, accumulating spice, or fulfilling unique faction objectives.
