About the game
What you do in a play session
If you've already cleared all the quests from the Starter Set and survived the behemoths of Volume Two, it's time to face the terrors that lurk in the darkest corners. Dungeon Hero: Volume Three – Bump in the Night is a Print & Play expansion that serves as a love letter to classic silver screen horror movies. Here, the simplicity of paper and pencil combines with the tension of dice rolls to create scenarios where dread is the main character.
In this volume, you'll find three main adventures to test your nerves. First, 'Full Moon Frenzy' puts you up against a nocturnal stalker under a full moon—can you stop the rampage? Then, in 'The Terror of Talonberg', you'll discover if a fortune-teller's prophecies are actually enough to destroy the evil haunting the town. Finally, 'The Pyramid of Semerkhet' leaves you dehydrated and exhausted in a scorching desert, where seeking shade in an ancient tomb might lead to ancestral horrors.
But wait, there's more! You also get the bonus adventure 'Creature of the Ebon Fen'. This time, you're hired by a group of scholars to escort them to a biologically interesting lagoon. The real question is: are those rare fish worth the risk of venturing into an unknown jungle? Fire up your printer, fold your sheets, and get ready for fast, lethal, and atmospheric quests. It's the perfect solo RPG dose for those who want an adventure without needing a Game Master or hundred-page rulebooks.
