About the game
What you do in a play session
Imagine yourself standing before an ancient pyramid, surrounded by cursed sands and guarded by creatures that most people think are just myths. Well, in Fallen: Cursed Sands, those myths are very real and they're trying to keep you out. The story takes us back to a time when humanity managed to banish the dreaded Dungeon Lord to the far reaches of the desert, but, like every good fantasy villain, the darkness has decided to make a comeback. Now, what was once just a bedtime story has become a tangible nightmare.
In this game, you and your partner (or rival) will face the challenge of exploring this hostile environment. The experience blends the tension of dice rolling with hand management strategy, where every card played can be the difference between surviving a sand titan or becoming undead fodder. The vibe is pure adventure, with a strong storytelling component that makes you feel like you're in an RPG campaign, but with the agility of a card game. The goal is to uncover the mysteries of the pyramid, facing constant dangers and trying to find out what exactly has stirred beneath the surface.
Prepare yourself for tough decisions: do you spend your resources now to secure an immediate win, or do you save that trump card for the final boss? The dynamic is intense and focused on cooperation or direct competition between two players, making the experience very intimate and strategic. If you enjoy that 'perilous exploration' vibe with hints of magic and colossal monsters, this game is for you. Just don't forget to bring some water, because the cursed sands don't forgive those who slip up!
