Get your reflexes ready because the island just got even more dangerous! Wreck of the Crimson Cutlass is the expansion that brings the remains of an ancient pirate ship to the world of Fireball Island. Now, besides dodging lava, you can explore caves and stumble upon the deck of the Crimson Cutlass, where forgotten treasures await those brave (and lucky) enough to grab them. But don't think it's a leisurely stroll; the ship is haunted by buccaneers who aren't fond of visitors.
What makes this expansion special is the addition of new physical challenges that keep the tension sky-high. There's the 'crow's nest', which collects marbles until it suddenly tips over, spilling a cascade of spheres all over the deck. And if you're bold enough to try and take the captain's wheel, watch out: the bow cannon will launch a marble straight at you. It's that delightful chaos we love in dexterity games!
Beyond the new hazards, the expansion injects more mischief into the game with new action cards. Now, the 'Take That' vibe is stronger, allowing you to mess with your friends while trying to escape the island. It's the perfect blend of action planning, luck, and the manual skill of keeping your character from flying off the board when the marbles start rolling. If you already enjoy the base game, this expansion adds layers of fun and tension that make the race against the volcano even more frantic.
