About the game
What you do in a play session
Ever wondered what it's like to run a professional fish hatchery? Fish Hatchery is your chance to find out! This strategic deck-building game invites you to build the ultimate aquarium business from the ground up. Spanning four intense rounds, the gameplay starts with a basic set of cards that you'll evolve by collecting increasingly rare and exotic fish to strengthen your deck. But don't expect a peaceful swim; success requires more than just a beautiful collection. You can purchase aquarium supplies and items that act as static triggers, boosting the impact of the fish cards you play. Also, keep your eyes peeled: sabotage is a key element here! Your opponents will try to undermine your progress, so you'll need to be ready to defend your business while racing toward victory. To win, you must accumulate the most aquarist points. There are multiple paths to glory: breeding fish, securing 'Master Breeder' cards, or taking a big risk in the fourth round by keeping high-value, high-difficulty fish that offer massive scoring potential. At the end of the fourth round, the player with the highest aquarist score is crowned the champion. It's a perfect blend of management, deck evolution, and a dash of competitive mischief, ideal for players who love seeing their engine grow!
