Flatline drops you into the emergency ward of a spaceship in the FUSE universe, where you and up to four teammates must rescue patients against the clock. Each round lasts exactly one minute, marked by a sand‑timer, and the goal is to match the symbols on your dice with the requirements on patient cards that arrive. The dice show icons instead of numbers, representing medical procedures, equipment or drugs. You roll, pick which dice to use, and if needed, trade dice with teammates to assemble the perfect combination before time runs out. Meanwhile, unexpected emergencies can pop up, forcing the group to adapt on the fly. The rules are straightforward, but the time pressure and cooperative nature generate tension and plenty of laughs. It can be played solo using a support‑card deck that simulates teammates, or cooperatively with up to five players. A typical game lasts 25‑45 minutes, making it a short yet intense session. Components include colorful icon dice, patient tokens, a one‑minute timer, and event cards. Flatline is light (weight 2.3/5), easy to learn, and has a gentle learning curve, perfect for fans of fast dice games, medical or sci‑fi themes, and anyone who enjoys a pulse‑pounding race against time.
