About the game
In *For Glory*, you’re a lanista, the owner of a gladiator school in Ancient Rome, and your goal is to build the empire’s most legendary team. The game switches between two phases: in the *Machinations Phase*, you recruit fighters, forge alliances with wealthy patrons, and train your gladiators in various tactics. When the crowd thirsts for blood, the *Arena Phase* begins, where your gladiators face off against your opponent’s in strategic battles. Each gladiator has unique abilities, and smart synergies can mean the difference between victory and humiliation. During combat, tactic and reaction cards let you turn the tide with surprise moves. The first to rack up six glory points wins and is remembered as the greatest lanista of all time. Get ready to manage resources, plan strategies, and, of course, pray your gladiators survive!
