Get your digging tools ready, because in Fossilis, you and your friends (2 to 5 players!) become top-notch paleontologists in a race to unearth dinosaur bones! A brand-new dinosaur graveyard has been discovered, promising findings that will make history. Each round, you get two actions to dig deep or perform a careful extraction. As you remove layers of earth and stone, you'll discover fossils that can be exchanged for better equipment, plaster for delicate extractions, and discovery points. The deeper you go, the more precious bones will appear. But beware: sometimes, the best move is to shift the earth to hide a find and slow down the competition! Bones are valuable, but museums go wild for complete skeletons. Assembling sets of bones can earn you museum cards and a massive score. The game stands out with its super cool 3D dig site board, featuring recessed pockets filled with bones and chunky terrain tiles that change the landscape. To emerge victorious, you'll need sharp strategy, perfect timing, and a dash of luck to secure your name in the annals of paleontology. It's a prehistoric adventure combining exploration, set collection, and a touch of 'take that' with an amazing visual presentation!
