About the game
If you're into the morbid, black-humored vibe of Gloom, the Unhappy Homes expansion is a must-have! It introduces a new family of failed artists, the Le Canard Noir troupe, whose lives are a constant string of disasters. With 55 new cards, including Modifiers, Events, and Untimely Deaths, the fun (or misfortune!) never stops. The game now supports an additional player, bringing the total to 5, and adds an extra layer of tragedy with Mystery cards, offering special effects and Pathos points for a specific Residence. These Mystery cards, featuring a dark blue effect bar, can only be played on Residences and remain even if the play requirements are lost. Plus, you can discard a Mystery from your hand as a free play. The five new Residences, with a light blue background, complement the experience, each tied to the family occupying it. Get ready for more misfortunes, more laughs, and more despair with this family of decadent artists!
