You know that classic game that almost everyone has played at least once? That's exactly what Guess Who? is—the definition of a timeless pastime. The premise is simple yet addictive: you and your opponent each choose a secret character, and through strategic questioning, you try to figure out who the other person's character is before they figure out yours. It's a pure duel of logic and observation!
The game works as a process of elimination. You ask questions that can only be answered with 'yes' or 'no'. For example: 'Does the person wear glasses?' or 'Is the hair blonde?'. If the answer is 'no', you flip down all the figures wearing glasses, eliminating them from the game. With every round, the circle closes and the options dwindle. One important detail: you can't ask if the character is a man or a woman as your very first question—you need a bit more strategy before jumping to that!
The atmosphere becomes incredibly tense when only one or two characters are left on your board. You can attempt to guess the person's name at any time, but be careful: if you guess wrong, the victory goes straight to your opponent. It's a fast-paced game, easy to learn, and perfect for children starting their board gaming journey, but it also entertains adults who enjoy a quick mental challenge. Whether you're playing the classic version or one of the many themed editions, the goal remains the same: be the fastest detective at the table.
