If you've already ventured through The Forests of Adrimon and want to spice up your journeys, the Encounter Deck is your next move! This gem introduces a new way to face challenges, separating all encounters from the core box, expansions, and even the living card deck into its own dedicated deck. And the best part: all of this comes with new, epic artwork that is a show in itself!
With this deck, you're not confined to the original encounters of each volume. Want to mix the dangers of the forest with the mysteries of a dungeon? Or perhaps customize which challenges appear in your next game? Now you can! The 34 encounter cards feature full art and introduce novelties like 'Boons,' which can grant you extra rewards after a successful battle. If you draw a Boon, you can draw another card; if it's another Boon, the party continues, but if it's an Encounter, you get the bonuses after winning. If something other than an Encounter comes up (like a difficulty increase), the Boons go back into the deck.
Speaking of difficulty, the deck also includes cards that increase the game's overall challenge, as well as allowing you to add conditions and keywords that previously only appeared in specific volumes. The rules for Roles that summon encounters have also been updated. It's an expansion that promises more replayability and customization, allowing each adventure in Adrimon to be unique. Get ready for more excitement and rewards!
