About the game
What you do in a play session
Imaginarium: Chimera is an expansion that dives deeper into the surreal world of the base game, introducing dreams as a central element. Each machine now has a 'soul'—a dream that can be explored during gameplay. Instead of taking a standard action, you can choose to 'dream,' earning extra resources, victory points, or even speeding up the game's end if you're persistent. Alongside new projects and assistants, the expansion adds a team-play mode for up to six players, where sharing resources and broken machines requires strategic communication. If you enjoy worker placement with a twist of fantasy and teamwork, Chimera is a solid upgrade.
