If you’ve played Massive Darkness 2 and thought cuteness couldn’t kill your heroes enough, this expansion will shock you. Rainbow Crossing brings two new enemy groups — the Cupids, who attack with toxic love, and the Punycorn, unicorns that look like toys but have steel claws. And then there’s Hug Bear, a bear who doesn’t want to kill you… just hug you until you’re pulp. The twist? Fluffy Auras: when you enter their zones, your heroes lose action points and move slower, like they’re stuck in a glitter cloud. The board is modular with double-sided tiles, and you play new missions in campaign or One-Shot mode. It comes with 84 cards, gorgeous miniatures, and a vibe of 'what the hell is this?' that only someone who’s seen a unicorn with a rainbow spear understands. The experience is intense, visually stunning, and packed with laughs — but it’s only worth it if you already own the base game. This isn’t a standalone game; it’s an overdose of deadly cuteness.

Do I need the base game to play this expansion?
Yes, absolutely. Rainbow Crossing is an expansion — without Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape, it doesn’t work.
How many players can play?
Up to 6 players — perfect for big groups who want to laugh, mess up, and scream together.
How long does a game take?
Depends on the mission: One-Shots run 60–90 minutes, campaigns can take 2+ hours per session.
Is it hard to learn?
Not really. If you’ve played Massive Darkness 2, the rules are familiar. Just learn the new Fluffy Auras and enemy types.
Are the miniatures good?
They’re amazing! Detailed, well-painted, and perfectly capture that mix of cute and creepy — ideal for the theme.
Is there a Portuguese version?
No official one. You’ll need community-translated print-and-play sheets or cards — the game doesn’t come in PT-BR.
Is it good for kids?
Not recommended. The theme is a dark parody of cuteness — hilarious for adults, but confusing or scary for kids.
