Hey board game enthusiasts! If you're into quick mental challenges and love seeing your friends' brains smoke, Micro Robots is definitely for you. Inspired by the classic Ricochet Robots, this real-time action game puts you on a mission to find the shortest path for a robot to move across the board. Each round, a new starting point and target are determined by dice, and the race begins! Everyone simultaneously tries to plan the sequence of moves. But there's a catch: the robot can only move orthogonally (up, down, sideways) to a space that shares either the color OR the number of its current location. Sounds simple, right? But with each step, the options change, and optimizing the path becomes a true real-time puzzle. As soon as someone shouts out the number of moves and demonstrates the solution, if correct, they earn a victory token. If they're wrong, they lose one! The board is modular, with four pieces you can flip and rearrange, ensuring each game is unique. And for the hardcore players, there's even an expert mode that adds a mandatory intermediate stop on the path. Oh, and the transparent robot from Micro Robots can also be used in Ricochet Robots, adding a wall-passing mechanic there! Get ready to think fast and have fun with this pure reasoning challenge!
