About the game
Murder, She Wrote drops you straight into the classic CBS series, where one player is secretly assigned the role of the murderer and the rest become detectives in the style of Jessica Fletcher. At the start a random player becomes the killer, whose goal is to eliminate five witnesses and escape the board before being caught. Meanwhile, detectives record the locations they visit and the order of those visits; this information, together with the alive/dead status of the witnesses, fuels their deduction to pinpoint the culprit. The game uses a Roll/Spin and Move mechanic, so board movement has a dash of luck that can swing the investigation each turn. A typical game lasts about an hour, supports 4‑6 players and carries a light weight (2/5), perfect for those who want a mystery vibe without heavy rules. If you love detective chatter, spotting liars, and a race against time, Murder, She Wrote serves it all with simple rules and plenty of themed fun.
