About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a frantic combat experience in Neon, a game that throws you right into the heart of Neo Nagoya, a ghost city serving as the stage for a breathtaking corporate tournament. You play as a Fighter, representing your company in this fierce competition. Over several rounds, you'll face off against other combatants, exploring the city's sectors in search of better gear to boost your offense and defense. But beware! Each round, parts of the city sink into the abyss, so it's wise to stay alert and choose your landing spots carefully. To emerge victorious, you must cunningly plan your actions, combining your unique abilities with the advantages each sector offers. There are three game modes: 'Resurrection,' where the highest score wins; 'Squad,' where the team with the most points claims glory; and the classic 'Battle Royale,' where the last fighter standing is the champion. Each round is divided into phases: first, you select and combine action cards to determine your turn order. Then, you execute your actions: move, search for new items, attack using dice and equipment, defend with your force field, attempt to take over sectors, or gain energy. Finally, a check determines if the game has ended, followed by the dreaded submersion phase, where sectors disappear and those on them take damage. Neon is a tactical combat game with elements of exploration and area control, where dice luck mixes with the strategy of those who don't want to be eliminated.
