About the game
In Paranauê, we are transported to the late 19th century, a period when capoeira, now a Brazilian cultural heritage, was unfairly prohibited. Here, you take on the role of a Capoeira Master, with the mission of establishing and strengthening your own roda (capoeira circle). But it's not that simple! For your roda to be the most renowned, you need to recruit new members, produce musical instruments, and spread the teachings of capoeira. Get ready to collect essential materials, such as clothing to attract new members and components to craft your berimbaus and atabaques. Strategy is key: use capoeira moves intelligently to duel with other masters and prove the strength of your roda. Furthermore, it's crucial to introduce educational values and enrich your group's experience, elevating it to a new level. But beware: the police are always watching, and you won't want them to disrupt the development of your roda! The ultimate goal is to be the Master with the most victory points at the end of the game, which concludes when a player reaches a specific score (25, 30, or 35, depending on the number of participants). Points are tallied from your current score on the track, fulfilled secret objectives, the value of members in your roda, and the musical instruments you managed to produce. Will your roda be the most known and respected in the world?
