Petiquette is a card game that tests the curiosity of pattern‑hunters. At the start of each round, five cards are revealed, each showing one of three animals—cat, dog or duck—topped with one of three hats—crown, beret or party hat—and a number from 1 to 5 in the upper corner. Players have only a minute to scan the sequence and then secretly choose the card they think best completes the pattern they perceive. If two or more players pick the same card, everyone earns points; if no one matches, nobody scores. The core mechanic is pattern recognition, but Petiquette also offers a cooperative layer: the group can decide to play as a team, aiming to accumulate the highest total score instead of competing against each other. Games last about 20 minutes and accommodate 2 to 6 players. The components are simple—a 55‑card deck of bright, whimsical illustrations, a score marker and a well‑illustrated rule sheet. The aesthetic is light and fun, with animals in playful poses wearing colorful hats that add a touch of humor. Petiquette is perfect for anyone who enjoys card games that demand focus, logic and a dash of intuition, and it works well in groups that appreciate both competition and collaboration. Beyond the core gameplay, Petiquette can also serve as a playful tool for teaching children how to recognize sequences and build attention skills. The stylish hats spark fashion conversations, while the numbers help practice quick counting. The game also functions as a mental puzzle during social gatherings, letting players of all ages enjoy together. The variety of combinations guarantees that no two rounds are identical, keeping the novelty alive across multiple sessions.
