About the game
What you do in a play session
In *Petits Meurtres & Faits Divers*, you're in the middle of a murder mystery where everyone's a suspect — including you! One player takes the role of the inspector, trying to uncover the murderer through interrogations. Each (innocent) player has one minute to defend themselves using three specific words from their book. The catch? All innocents have the SAME three words, while the murderer has different ones. The challenge is to bluff your way out using the right (or wrong) words. It's a game of deception, deduction, and loads of acting — perfect for lovers of suspense and improvised storytelling. The sand timer ticks, words get twisted, and guilt slips through fingers. Can you fool everyone?

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
How many players are ideal?
4 to 7 players. Fewer makes it too easy for the murderer, more can drag the game.
Do I need to be good at acting?
No Meryl Streep skills required, but the more you commit, the funnier it gets!
How long does a game last?
Around 45 minutes, but it depends on how much your group milks their defenses.
Can it be played in other languages?
Not recommended — the game relies entirely on specific words in French (or your book's language).
Is it hard to learn?
Nope! Rules are simple; the real challenge is keeping cool under pressure.
What’s the minimum age?
Recommended for 12+, mainly due to bluffing and quick thinking.
Does it need a GM?
Just the inspector role, which rotates. Everyone plays actively!
