Get ready for a spiritual and strategic journey to Tibet! In Potala Palace, you take on the role of a Rinpoche commissioned by the 5th Dalai Lama to rebuild the legendary palace on Red Mountain. But this isn't just an engineering project: there's a jealous demon who, since the 7th century, has been trying to sabotage the construction. The story is rich, blending the courage of Princess Wencheng and Buddhist mysticism with a modern management challenge.
In the game, you'll manage your monk workers using dice, which are used to gather resources and improve your deck. The goal is to erect halls, statues, and thangkas (stunning Tibetan tapestries), accumulating merit points to reach enlightenment and complete the Great Mandala. The standout feature here is the Day and Night dynamic: your deck cards can be flipped, completely changing their effects and opening up new tactical possibilities.
But stay sharp! While you plan your growth during the day, the night brings danger. The mountain demon may appear to destroy part of your hard work, forcing you to balance expansion with protection. It's a thematic Eurogame where worker placement efficiency and deck evolution are the keys to victory. Can you rebuild the spiritual tower and banish the evil entity for good, or will your plans crumble under the demon's wrath? The race for spiritual merit has begun!
