About the game

What you do in a play session

Rampage at the Rockport Tower puts you in the shoes of Coco, a giant gorilla who decides to take a vertical tour of Rockport to escape his pursuers. In each game, two columns of cards represent the tower the monster is climbing. Your goal? Arrange the cards in ascending order, from the lowest value at the base to the top, using only a standard 52‑card deck.

The gameplay is easy to pick up: you draw cards from the deck, place them on the columns, and try to build correct sequences. But don’t be fooled – memory comes into play because you must remember which values have already appeared and where, as you can only see a few cards at a time. Planning and a dash of luck are essential – if you complete the sequence to the final level, Coco reaches the summit and you win.

While climbing, military planes fire at the gorilla. Each shot counts as a "hit" and if you get hit three times before finishing the tower, the game ends in defeat. This pressure creates a growing sense of tension, since the higher you go, the more likely you are to be hit.

For players who have mastered the basics, the game offers variants that crank up the difficulty. Night Rampage demands even more memorization, while the Extended version adds a two‑card spire on top, thinning the draw deck and intensifying the air attacks. Both variants are great for those who love pushing their memory and patience limits.

With playtime ranging from 20 to 30 minutes, Rampage at the Rockport Tower is perfect for quick solo sessions, whether during a break or as a warm‑up before a game night. The only physical component is a regular deck of cards, making setup and transport a breeze. If you enjoy memory games, solo challenges, and a slightly absurd theme – giant gorilla versus warplanes – you’ll find this experience a lot of fun.
