Preparation (Setup)

When playing with the "Rotten Wounds" mini-expansion, you will use the Event cards and Adventure cards from this pack instead of the cards from the base game. You will also use the Wreckage card from this pack. When using the Wreckage cards from the Companion App packs, do not skip the first Event Phase. You must resolve the Event specified on the Wreckage card during the initial round.

Getting a Wound

Whenever a game effect instructs you to get a wound, the color of the wound is taken randomly. This wound is then placed on any available body part space of your Character board. Each Character can have a maximum of 1 wound on each body part. If you must place a wound on your Character and all body spaces are already covered by a wound, nothing happens. If you run out of wounds, the rule of Unfulfilled Demand applies.

Event Cards

• Event 087: SHADOW APPROACHING
  • DANGER: Add 2 wounds to the top of the Green Stack. Resolve 1 wound from the bottom of the Green Stack. Shuffle this card into the Event deck.
  • The First Player fights the Beast. Its strength equals the number of wounds in the Green Stack. Draw another card.
• Event 037: BLIND WITH FEAR
  • AGAINST THE NIGHT: Roll the die and resolve its effect. If you roll a skull, get a wound. Shuffle this card into the Event deck.
  • Any one player may discard 1 determination token to discard 1 wound. Draw another card.
• Event 036: THE DEAD END
  • ILL-PREPARED: Roll and resolve the die an amount equal to the number of wounds you have. Shuffle this card into the Event deck.
  • If you have the shovel, each player discards 1 food token. Otherwise, each player gets 1 wound. Draw another card.

Dicas para Vencer

• Be mindful of the Green Stack when facing the Beast in Event 087, as its strength is directly tied to the number of wounds there.
• Consider discarding a determination token to remove a wound when Event 037 occurs, especially if players are accumulating too many wounds.
• If you have the shovel, you can mitigate the negative effect of Event 036 by discarding food tokens instead of taking wounds.
