About the game
Get ready to dive into the opulence of the Rococo era, under the reign of Louis XV, where extravagant balls are the stage for high society to display their most sumptuous garments! In Rococo, you take on the role of a master tailor, tasked with fulfilling the elite's requests for the grand ball approaching. It's not just about sewing an elegant coat or a stunning dress; it's about managing all the prestige of the event. You'll need to hire employees, acquire precious fabrics, craft garments, and even invest in the decorations and fireworks that will make the party shine. The game combines hand management with a super interesting deck-building twist. Each turn, you play an employee card, and each employee has specific skills to perform tasks such as hiring new talents, buying resources, producing clothes, or funding elements of the ball. The trick is that not every employee is good at everything, so choosing the right person for the right task is crucial, especially since many of them offer unique bonuses and prestige points. After seven intense rounds of preparation, the game culminates in the grand ball and the final scoring. You'll accumulate prestige for your employees' bonuses, for the clothes rented to guests, and for the decorations you funded. The most influential and prestigious tailor takes the victory!
