About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey folks! Ready to give your Saint Petersburg a boost? This beauty is actually two expansions in one box, ready to supercharge your base game. On one hand, we have 'New Society,' which brings brand-new cards and others that give a facelift to the old ones – some become cheaper, others offer more return. Oh, and there's a new line of workers, the 'New Farmers,' which are pricey but yield points at the end. This part is the creation of Tom Lehmann, that guy knows his stuff!
And to top it off, there's 'The Banquet,' by Karl-Heinz Schmiel, which adds cards with special powers for you to make some bolder plays and surprise your opponents. The coolest part is that you can use the expansions together or separately, as you prefer. And if you like playing with more people, 'New Society' even allows up to 5 players to have fun, with some clever rules to compensate those who don't start a phase.
With these additions, Saint Petersburg becomes even more strategic and offers more paths to victory. If you already enjoy the base game, this expansion is a must-have for those who want more depth and variety in their games. Let's expand and dominate Tsarist Russia in style!
