Imagine being lost in a dark forest, surrounded by creatures that want you dead, but the real problem is that you don't even know who is who. Welcome to Shadow Hunters! This is a frantic survival game where trust is a luxury you simply cannot afford. The setting is an ancient battle between three distinct factions: the Shadows (hungry creatures of the night), the Hunters (humans determined to clear the forest), and the Neutrals (common civilians just trying to survive the chaos).
The big twist — and the biggest danger — here is the hidden roles. You start the game without knowing if your neighbor at the table is your ally or the monster that’s going to devour you next turn. You can try to keep your disguise as long as possible, but the game forces you to make choices: will you use your special ability and reveal your identity to gain an advantage, or will you keep pretending to be a civilian until it's too late? If you reveal yourself too early, enemies will hunt you down using brutal abilities like teleportation or blood-sucking. If you wait too long, someone might figure out your secret through Hermit cards or simply by watching your suspicious behavior.
With a mix of dice rolling, constant bluffing, and unique powers for every character, Shadow Hunters is the kind of game that turns a friendly gathering into a psychological battlefield. It's fast, tense, and always leads to stories like 'I knew you were the werewolf!'. Get your dice ready, hide your intentions, and try not to be the next victim of the forest!
