About the game
Get ready to test your connection with your friends in Similo, a cooperative deduction game that's pure group fun! The idea is simple, but the challenge is significant: one player receives a secret card with a character and, using other cards from their hand, must give clues for the others to guess which character is hidden among many others displayed on the table. Clues are given subtly: you play a card indicating if it's similar or different from the secret character. The other players then need to eliminate characters that don't fit the hints, until only the chosen one remains. With each round, the tension builds! If the group guesses correctly, victory! But if they mistakenly eliminate the right character, defeat is certain. Each version of Similo comes with a beautifully themed deck, featuring incredible illustrations by Naïade, showcasing characters from a common universe. You can play with a single deck, using the cards for both the characters in play and the clues, or mix two different decks for an even greater challenge – imagine giving clues from a fairy tale to guess a mythology character! It's a fast-paced game, easy to learn, and guarantees lots of laughter and heated discussions about who thought what. Perfect for breaking the ice or for a light game session between more complex ones. With rules that take minutes to explain and games that don't go over 15 minutes, Similo is ideal for playing with up to 8 people, ensuring interaction and plenty of deduction with family or friends. It's the kind of game that makes you think 'how didn't I think of that?' and celebrate each correct guess as a major achievement!

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is Similo for?
Similo is perfect for families, groups of friends, and anyone who enjoys cooperative deduction games with a light and fun twist. It's great for beginners and also for experienced gamers, especially for breaking the ice or during casual game nights.
How many people can play Similo?
The game is very flexible and supports 2 to 8 players. The more people, the more chaotic and fun it can get!
How long does a game of Similo last?
Games are quite fast, usually lasting between 10 to 15 minutes. You can play multiple rounds in one evening without getting tired.
Do I need to be able to read to play Similo?
No! The game is entirely visual. The cards have illustrations and names, but the main communication is done through the visual clues you give with other cards. There is no language dependency.
What happens if I give a wrong clue?
If you give a clue that leads the others to eliminate the secret character, you lose the game. That's part of the challenge! The idea is for everyone to learn to think similarly.
Can I mix cards from different Similo versions?
Absolutely! That's one of the coolest parts. You can use one deck for the characters in play and another for the clues, which significantly increases the complexity and fun.
Is Similo a difficult game to learn?
Not at all! The rules are super simple, and you can learn to play in under 5 minutes. The challenge lies in the deduction and communication, not in the rules themselves.
