About the game
What you do in a play session
Imagine being a nature spirit living in total harmony with your valley for centuries. Everything was peaceful, until a group of intruders crossed the mountains, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. In Spirits of Valenor, you and your friends take on the role of these spirits to protect your home from an unknown threat.
This is a dynamic cooperative card game that tells a continuous story through 15 replayable chapters. The big twist (and the real challenge!) is that you don't have full control over what you play. Your Defense and Invader cards come mixed in your hand, and you are forced to play the top card without being able to change the order. This means that while you're trying to defend your valley, you might accidentally bring even more trouble to the five locations on the map!
To defeat an invader, your Defense card at the target location must have a value equal to or higher than the invader's. If you manage a perfect match with the exact same value, you get a bonus: a Support Card! The goal is to clear all invaders from a location before they completely devastate it. If you succeed, you unlock the next chapter of the story. It's a game of hand management and timing, perfect for those who love a good cooperative adventure with a constant touch of tension.
