About the game
What you do in a play session
Listen up, folks! The Z-95 Headhunter expansion for X-Wing Miniatures Game introduces a ship that's like the grandpa of the X-wing, but it still holds its own! Manufactured by Incom, this fighter was cheaper, tougher, and more reliable, serving as a veteran that served the Rebel Alliance well in close air support missions during the Galactic Civil War. This beauty enters the game as the Rebel ship with the lowest squad cost, with all four ship cards costing no more than 19 points. The Bandit Squadron Pilot, for instance, comes in at just 12 points, tying with the Imperial Academy Pilot as the cheapest fighter in the game. But don't be fooled, the Z-95 doesn't fly like a TIE fighter. It comes equipped with the Focus and Target Lock actions, along with the ability to load and fire missiles. Speaking of which, the expansion includes two missile types: Assault Missiles and Ion Pulse Missiles. Inside the box, you'll find one Z-95 miniature, four ship cards, five upgrade cards, one maneuver dial, and all the tokens needed to bring this ship into battle. It's a cool addition for those who enjoy filling the table with ships and varying their tactics, especially if you like the idea of a versatile and affordable missile platform.
