About the game
Hey there, Starcadia Quest crew! Get ready for a robotic upgrade that's going to supercharge your space adventures. The 'Build-a-Robot' expansion isn't just another box of new content; it brings a brand-new branching campaign, fresh heroes, sinister monsters, and essential upgrades for your crew. But the real highlight, without a doubt, are the companion Robots, a modular system you can plug into any base game scenario, adding a special flavor to your missions.

Here’s how it works: each Robot is a combination of two parts – an upper and a lower – that snap together and rotate, allowing for tons of crazy combinations! Each part has its own miniature and card, and it's their fusion that defines your new mechanical friend's unique ability. The upper part usually indicates the condition to activate the ability, while the lower part reveals the effect. It's like building your own pocket Transformer, but for fighting aliens!

Beyond the customizable robots, 'Build-a-Robot' introduces Turrets, combat machines that can be used both by you and against you. They are modular pieces that are super easy to integrate into any scenario. A clever hero near a Computer Terminal can forgo their attack to remotely control a Turret and unleash a 5-dice ranged attack against any target in their line of sight. But be careful, the enemy AI knows how to use these beauties too! With 13 highly-detailed miniatures, 38 cards, 30+ tokens, 3 new game tiles, and 4 Robot Dashboards, this expansion promises hours of robotic and strategic fun.
