About the game
In Tapestry, you get the chance to shape a civilization from scratch, starting from the dawn of humanity and progressing into the distant future. Forget history books, because here your civilization is entirely unique, with paths that can diverge significantly from real-world events and figures. The game, designed for 1 to 5 players and lasting 90 to 120 minutes, invites you to build the most memorable history of all.

The journey begins with nothing, and your goal is to progress along four distinct advancement tracks: science, technology, exploration, and military. Each advance on these tracks unlocks progressively more powerful benefits, and the beauty is that you can choose to focus on a single track for deep specialization or adopt a more balanced approach, exploring them all. This strategic flexibility is one of the game's highlights, allowing for different playstyles in each game.

Beyond advancing on the tracks, you will also dedicate yourself to improving your economy, expanding and beautifying your capital city with incredible constructions, and utilizing your civilization's unique asymmetric abilities to gain an advantage. Victory points are crucial, of course, but the true narrative of your civilization is told through the tapestry cards you acquire throughout the game. They are not just points, but pieces of your saga, transforming each game into an epic and personalized story. Get ready to see your civilization flourish in ways you never imagined!
