About the game
What you do in a play session
The 23:47 Dispatch: A Fog Lane Mini Case is a cooperative mystery print & play game that puts you in the shoes of Scotland Yard detectives in 1896. Three nights before the infamous Fog Lane murder, an anonymous letter arrives with three clue cards. Your job? Cut out the cards, decode a Caesar cipher, solve a pawnbroker's arithmetic problem, and interpret a stopped pocket watch to open a four-digit dispatch box. Answers are verified online, so no cheating allowed! Play solo or with up to six people cooperating with a single printout. Perfect for those who love a quick investigation full of retro charm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
How long does a game last?
About 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your puzzle-solving skills.
Do I need a lot of stuff to play?
Just the game printout, scissors to cut the cards, and a pencil for notes. And internet access to verify the answers!
Is it hard?
The puzzles are challenging but not impossible. If you enjoy cracking codes and solving puzzles, you'll have fun.
Can I play solo?
Yes! And also with a group of up to six people cooperating.
Do I need to print it again to replay?
It depends. If you didn't cut the cards, you can reuse them. But if you did, you might need to print again or use plastic to preserve them.
