Get ready, because the war in Tiny Epic Kingdoms just got a massive upgrade! If you thought the conflict between kingdoms was already intense, wait until you see what the Heroes' Call expansion brings to the table. The story picks up right after the base game, and the battlefield is getting much more dangerous with new factions arriving from the North. But it's not just new armies; legendary heroes are now entering the fray! Each hero is represented by a larger meeple and brings unique abilities that can completely shift the momentum of a round.
The expansion also introduces a new resource (silver!) and new regions with their own mechanics, ensuring the map never feels the same twice. One of the most interesting additions is the tower building system: you now use tower cubes to track your progress in specific regions. But watch out! If you get attacked and lose a battle, those cubes can be lost, meaning you don't just lose territory—you lose your construction progress too. It's that dose of tension we all love!
On top of all that, Heroes' Call answers a huge community request: you can now play entirely solo! The expansion includes the necessary rules and support for solo play, allowing you to test your conquest strategies without needing company. With new territory cards, more faction options, and an extra layer of strategy through the action queue and variable phase order, this expansion is the missing ingredient to turn your quick sessions into true epic tales of conquest and strategy. If you're already a fan of the Tiny Epic series, this one is a must-have to make your empire even stronger.

Can I play this without the base game?
No, this is an expansion and requires the original Tiny Epic Kingdoms to play.
Is the solo mode actually good?
Yes! This expansion is what brought solo play mechanics to the series, making it very playable alone.
How long does a game last with the expansion?
The time remains similar to the base game, between 30 to 60 minutes, but with slightly more interaction.
Does the expansion make the box much bigger?
No, it maintains the 'Tiny Epic' philosophy of being compact and easy to store.
Who is this game for?
For fans of quick strategy games, fantasy themes, and those who enjoy managing small empires.
Do the heroes break the game balance?
They add new strategic layers, but the game remains balanced among the different factions.
