About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey folks! If you enjoy the chaotic fun of Walk the Plank! and think the game could get even crazier, get ready! Mayday Games, responding to popular demand (and with a dash of cheekiness, since the designer didn't ask, but whatever!), has released this mini-expansion that adds a ghostly twist to your game. The idea is simple: the first pirate to be completely eliminated, the one who gets thrown off the plank (all three, to be exact), doesn't go home. Not at all! They come back as a ghost!
This spectral pirate, with their ghost meeple, continues the mischief, able to push and hinder the other pirates still fighting for survival. Think of them as that annoying friend who, even after being eliminated from the game, can't stop giving advice and messing with those still playing. The cool part is that the ghost can no longer be pushed or thrown off, but they can keep pushing the living. They don't have the power for more drastic actions like cutting the rope or extending the plank, but their ghostly presence and shoves can change the course of the game. It's a hilarious way to keep a player engaged even after elimination, adding more twists and laughs to the experience. Perfect for those who like a touch of humor and unpredictability in their game nights.
