What the Heck? seems simple until you realize you're in a psychological war with your friends. Each player gets an identical deck of cards numbered 1 to 15. Each round, a prize is revealed—it could be good (up to +10 points) or a nasty surprise (up to -5 points). Everyone secretly picks a card to bid, then reveals simultaneously. Here's the twist: for positive prizes, the highest card wins; for negative ones, the lowest card gets stuck. But if two players tie with the highest (or lowest) card, they cancel out and the prize goes to the next in line. It's all about bluffing, calculation, and a bit of luck, with that delicious tension of 'will they go high or low this time?'. In 20 minutes, you'll be laughing (or cursing) at the unpredictable outcomes. Pro tip: save your high cards for the big prizes, but don't be too obvious!
