About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for more trouble in XenoShyft! The Brood expansion brings a brand-new batch of alien creatures ready to give you a headache. If you thought the base game was tough, just wait until you see what these new folks are up to. This expansion injects more danger and excitement into your fight for survival, adding 5 brand-new enemies for each of the three attack waves and, even worse (or better, depending on your perspective!), 3 new and terrifying bosses that will test the limits of your base and your sanity. Each wave comes with a different selection of threats, from the trackers and scavengers of the first wave to the more sinister horrors and giant monsters of the following waves. The 'Brood' has truly evolved and brought with it an arsenal of horrors to ensure your team doesn't get a moment's peace. This expansion raises the challenge level and rewards players who have already mastered the tactics of the base game, introducing new attack patterns and bosses with unique abilities that will require new strategies. It's the perfect addition for those who want to extend the XenoShyft experience and face even greater challenges, adding replayability and more moments of cooperative tension.
It's worth remembering that this expansion requires the base game XenoShyft: Dreadmire to play and, like the original game, has significant language dependency, with most of the cards needing to be understood for a smooth playthrough.
