Game Objective
The objective of the game, with the The Boys Character Pack 1 expansion, is to survive hordes of zombies using the superpowers of the Supes. Players control characters such as Homelander, Queen Maeve, A-Train, Black Noir, The Deep, Starlight, and Soldier Boy, who possess unique abilities. Although the manual does not detail a specific victory condition, the focus is on using the Supes' abilities to combat zombies, with the caveat that using Ultimate Abilities can cause Friendly Fire.
Setup
To set up the game with the The Boys Character Pack 1 expansion, follow these steps:
- Components: The pack includes 7 miniatures (Homelander, Queen Maeve, A-Train, Black Noir, The Deep, Starlight, Soldier Boy) and 7 corresponding ID Cards.
- ID Cards: Each Supe has an ID Card that identifies them as a Supe (indicated by a specific symbol).
- Ultimate Abilities: All Supes have 1 additional exclusive Ultimate Ability at the Blue Level, listed on their ID Card. The rules for these abilities are explained on the back of the ID Card.
- Ultimate Ability Reference Cards: Each Supe also has a reference card for their Ultimate Ability. These cards do not take up inventory space, as Ultimate Abilities are always available.
- Additional Zombie Spawn Tokens: When setting up a Mission with Supes, add 1 additional Zombie Spawn token for every 2 Supes in play.
- 1-2 Supes: add 1 Zombie Spawn Zone.
- 3-4 Supes: add 2 Zombie Spawn Zones.
- 5-6 Supes: add 3 Zombie Spawn Zones.
- And so on.
- Placement of Zombie Spawn Tokens: Stack these additional tokens in the same Zones as existing ones or in any new Spawn Zone chosen by the players, if multiple are available. This can result in Zones with duplicate or even triplicate Zombie Spawns.

Actions and How to Play
Players control Supes, who are characters with superpowers. Here are the details about actions and abilities:
- Ultimate Abilities: Each Supe has an exclusive Ultimate Ability, available at the Blue Level. These abilities are always available and do not take up inventory space.
- Using Ultimate Ability: When a Supe uses their Ultimate Ability to Attack, they can cause Friendly Fire, even in Melee Attacks. Supes must be careful when unleashing their Ultimate Abilities.
- Choice of Attack: A Supe can choose not to use their Ultimate Ability and instead perform a normal Attack with a weapon, like any other Survivor.
- Example of Choice: Black Noir, equipped with a Katana in a Zone with a Walker and another Survivor, might decide not to use his Ultimate Ability, Death Agent, to avoid Friendly Fire if he misses his Melee Attack. He would attack with the Katana normally, foregoing the +2 dice bonus of his ability.
- Specific Supe Abilities (Examples):
- Homelander: Has Homeland Protection, Heat Vision (+1 Action, +1 Free Combat Action, Blitz, +1 Damage: Ranged, +1 Zone per Move, Super Strength).
- Starlight: Has Lifesaver, Starburst (-1 Action), Combat Reflexes, Push (-1 Ranged Damage), -1 Free Combat Action, Zombie Link.

Tips for Winning
- Friendly Fire Management: Supes must be extremely careful when using their Ultimate Abilities to Attack, as they can cause Friendly Fire, even in Melee Attacks. Assess the situation and the presence of other Survivors in the Zone before activating an Ultimate Ability.
- Attack Flexibility: Remember that a Supe can choose not to use their Ultimate Ability and instead perform a normal Attack with a weapon. This flexibility is crucial to avoid Friendly Fire in risky situations or when the ability's bonus is not essential.
- Increased Difficulty: Be aware that adding Supes to the game increases the number of Zombie Spawn Zones, which means more zombies on the board. Plan your actions and movements considering this increased enemy pressure.
