About the game
What you do in a play session
In 20 Strong: Nemesis, you and up to two fellow crew members find yourselves trapped aboard a perilous spaceship full of hidden threats. The main goal is to reach Earth alive, yet each player holds secret objectives that might require you to fail the escape or sacrifice crucial resources. The board depicts the ship's corridors, rooms, and modules, all starting inactive. To stand a chance of escaping, you must bring generators online, fire up the engines, and ready the escape pods while fending off alien intruders that appear throughout the game. Movement and actions are resolved by dice rolling, adding a layer of unpredictability to every step. Military gear and technical tools can be salvaged and used strategically, but the noise you generate while exploring raises the stakes: the longer you take, the louder you become, drawing more threats. The semi‑cooperative nature means you’ll need each other's help to restore systems, yet everyone can betray or chase hidden victory points. Designed for 1‑3 players, a typical session lasts 40‑60 minutes and carries a 3/5 weight, striking a balance between depth and approachability. The experience blends survival tension, moral choices, and a race‑against‑time adrenaline, all set in a richly detailed sci‑fi theme. If you enjoy games where cooperation is optional and back‑stabbing is part of the fun, Nemesis delivers a tense, twist‑filled session with plenty of strategic variety each playthrough.
