Hey everyone! Ready to spice up your 7 Wonders games? The Babel expansion introduces two modules that will shake things up, and the best part is you can use one, the other, or both together, mixing them with other expansions without a hitch! In the first module, the 'Tower of Babel,' things kick off even before the normal draft. Each player chooses some law tiles that will alter the game for everyone. Think laws that grant infinite resources or tweak military scoring. What's really cool is that instead of taking coins when discarding cards, you can place one of these law tiles onto a space on the circular board. This law remains in effect until it's covered by another or the game ends. In the end, whoever placed more law tiles gets bonus points! The second module, 'Great Projects,' adds a layer of taxation. At the start of each Age, a Great Project appears with a resource cost for anyone wanting to play cards of a specific color. Those who pay the tax take a token, and if everyone manages to collect their tokens by the end of the Age, a collective bonus is awarded! However, if tokens remain, players without one might face a penalty. Babel increases complexity and interaction in a really neat way, forcing more strategic decisions. It's for those who enjoy 7 Wonders and want more options and challenges in their games.
