About the game
What you do in a play session
If you thought A la Carte was sweet enough, get ready for more! The "A la Carte: Dessert" expansion arrives to spice up (literally!) your games with new gourmet desserts that will test your kitchen skills and your luck. It includes 4 mini-expansions that bring a delicious freshness to the base game, plus components to add a fifth player to the table, making the competition even fiercer.
Now, in addition to the classic dishes, you can venture into desserts like "Spice Dice," "Salty Dogs," or the fiery "Pomitos Frititos." And for those who enjoy an extra challenge, secret "Menus" come into play. Each player receives three and chooses one to complete, keeping it secret. If you perform well and prepare the right dishes, extra points are guaranteed at the end! But beware, if you fail, there are no bonuses. Some menus even require a star to be completed, adding a strategic layer.
New "Coffee Cups" also shake up the kitchen: a "Trash Can" allows you to retrieve discarded dishes, and the "Flavor Neutralizer" helps you get rid of unwanted spices. And for the daring, "Salt Dishes" and "Spice Mixing" (a bottle with 5 grains of each of the 4 spices) will ensure your creations have the exact touch of flavor. Get ready for an even richer and more fun culinary experience!
