You know that friend who can convince anyone of anything with a completely straight face? Well, Academia is the perfect place for that kind of person! This game is a pure exercise in creativity and cunning, where the goal isn't necessarily to be a vocabulary genius, but rather a master of deception. The dynamics are simple and addictive: in each round, the leader chooses a very uncommon word and reads it aloud. The challenge? All other players must write a meaning for that word on a piece of paper.
If you know the real answer, great, write it down. But if you have no clue (or if you want to be sneaky), invent the most convincing definition possible to mislead the others. The round leader then reads all the suggestions—including the true one—and everyone votes on the one that seems the most correct. If you can make the majority believe your lie, you score points! It's the kind of game that generates laughter, absurd arguments, and reveals who the biggest liars at the table are. It's a reimplementation of the classic 'Leréia', focusing entirely on social interaction and the power of persuasion. It doesn't matter if you don't know what the word means; what matters is that others think you do. Get your paper, pen, and your best sincere face ready, because the bluffing class is about to begin!

Do I need to know difficult words to play?
Not at all! In fact, those who invent convincing lies often do better than those who simply know the correct answer.
How many people can play?
The game supports 2 to 6 players, but it really shines in larger groups where the bluffing becomes more chaotic.
How long does a game last?
About 60 minutes on average, though this varies depending on how many rounds the group decides to play.
Is the game complex?
Not at all! The rules are super simple, and anyone can learn them in two minutes.
What's in the box?
Basically the cards with words and meanings; you'll just need paper and pen to write down the answers.
