About the game
What you do in a play session
The game-changing helmet has arrived in Alien Frontiers! The Mind Control Helmet (MCH) isn't just another shiny piece of plastic; it's your secret weapon to mess with your opponents' plans. For a friendly price of 3 Fuel, you can snatch one of their ships and use it as if it were your own. Can you picture it? Snagging that ship your buddy desperately wanted to complete his colony and using it for your own gain? That's exactly it! Just be careful not to try moving ships from or onto the terraforming station, and don't use the card at the same facility the ship originated from. This little gem first appeared as a pre-order bonus and now comes with all copies from the third edition onwards, so there's no excuse not to have yours. It's an expansion that adds an extra layer of interaction and strategy, transforming how you think about using ships on the board. If you enjoy having more tactical options and love a good dose of 'take that' (but with class!), the MCH is for you. It elevates the area control aspect and adds that extra spice every Alien Frontiers fan loves.

What does the Mind Control Helmet do?
It allows you to spend 3 Fuel to move an opponent's ship to a different orbital facility and use it as if it were your own, with some restrictions.
Do I need the base game Alien Frontiers to use this expansion?
Yes, the Mind Control Helmet is an expansion card and requires the base game of Alien Frontiers to be played.
What are the restrictions for using the Mind Control Helmet?
You cannot move ships from or onto the Terraforming Station, the ship's value cannot change during transit, and you cannot use it at the same facility the ship was moved from.
