About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to dive headfirst into the Gilded Age of the United States with American Mogul! This game puts you in charge of a booming industry during the Industrial Revolution, where every decision counts towards becoming a true tycoon. Forget taking it easy: the action selection system is brutally tight, demanding that you plan each move wisely, as you can't repeat an action in the same round. The tension is palpable as you race to close the best contracts, acquire the most promising companies, and dominate all emerging markets.

American Mogul is the evolution of Global Mogul, bringing innovations that boost replayability. Now, each player takes on the role of an Industrial Captain with a unique ability and an exclusive starting position, adding that special flavor right from the start. Event cards, chosen by you during game setup, ensure no two games are alike, but without pure randomness. And to make things even more interesting, you define a unique end-game scoring condition each game! Oh, and there's a new action that lets you donate cash to your personal foundation. As the money grows with public matching donations and interest, you unlock special abilities. But beware: in a game where every cent is contested, how much are you willing to give away? Will you be the philanthropist building a legacy or the robber baron hoarding cash?

With Worker Placement, Action Points, and a dynamic Market, American Mogul offers a deep and challenging economic experience, perfect for those who enjoy thinking and planning every step towards riches.
