About the game
What you do in a play session
Welcome to the first Data Pack of the Lunar Cycle for Android: Netrunner, and it’s taking you to the Moon! Upstalk brings 60 new cards (three copies of twenty different cards) that will shake up everything you thought you knew about the game. Prepare for an experience that defies the ordinary, where the Moon isn't just a setting, but a stage for wild new strategies.
Both Corporations and Runners will have to think outside the box, because the cards and mechanics here challenge expectations. Imagine that even a failed trace attempt can punish the Runner, or that life only exists where corporations rule. It's a place where you might encounter fragments of mythical source code, and where anything can happen in an instant.
This expansion, as is typical for Netrunner, requires you to own the base game to play. It’s perfect for those who already enjoy the game and want more depth and variety, introducing new ways to play with action points, hand management, and secret unit deployment. If you enjoy science fiction, cyberpunk themes, and the tension of an asymmetric card game, Upstalk is a feast. The complexity remains at the expected level for the series, but the need for strong language proficiency is high, as the cards are very specific and strategic.
