About the game

What you do in a play session

Anomia: Party Edition brings six brand‑new decks to the Anomia family, each with over 400 unique categories and blank cards for creating your own prompts. The goal is simple: flip cards one by one, looking for matching symbols on other players’ cards. When a match is found, the two players engage in a speed‑duel: each must give an example within the category listed on the opponent’s card, such as "tropical fruit" or "musical instrument." The first to answer correctly takes the opponent’s card into their win pile, and the game continues. The twist lies in the wildcards, which allow unexpected matches and can trigger cascades of duels that can flip the game in seconds. Play ends when the deck runs out; the player with the most cards in their win pile wins. It’s perfect for parties, hangouts, and families who enjoy a quick, word‑based challenge. The fast‑matching mechanic keeps tension high, and mixing decks adds endless variety. If you love games that demand focus, mental speed, and plenty of chatter, Anomia Party Edition will keep you hooked for hours.
