Get ready to get your hands dirty (or rather, into apples!) in Applejack, a charming game from master Uwe Rosenberg. Here, you and your daughter will tend to an orchard, planting apple trees and harvesting juicy fruits. But don't be fooled, the secret to victory lies with the bees! Strategically place your beehives between the trees to attract these busy insects and ensure your honey production. Each turn presents a decision: which tree tile, with its apples, blossoms, and beehives, will you take from the central board? When placing the tile in your orchard, think carefully about where the beehives will go, as they need to be connected to yield honey. And keep an eye on the special die: when it lands on an apple icon, it's harvest time! But beware: only those who have arranged the fruits cleverly will score points. After 19 rounds, the orchard will be complete, and the final scoring will determine the champion. Apples, blossoms, and precious honey will be counted. Whoever accumulates the most points wins and is crowned the best orchard keeper in the region! It's a quick, visually pleasing game with that tactical touch we love.
