About the game
What you do in a play session
If you enjoy exploring dungeons with stylized heroes, Arcadia Quest: Inferno is your next destination. The game functions as a robust expansion, but the best part is that it's 'standalone', meaning you can start your journey right here without owning the base game. If you already have the original, it's 100% compatible, allowing you to mix and match for the ultimate adventure.
In this journey, the story leads us to a fiery abyss where four new guilds—Sharks, Tigers, Crows, and Serpents—enter the fray. You'll have access to new hero classes, such as Gladiators and Alchemists, each with their own unique tricks and abilities. But don't think it's a walk in the park: the terrain is treacherous. Brimstone cards make navigation dangerous, forcing the group to think carefully about where they step.
The standout feature here is the 'Damnation' mechanic. The game will tempt you with absurdly powerful weapons, but beware: the price could be your character's corruption or unpredictable changes in the behavior of nearby monsters. It's that classic dilemma: 'Is the power worth losing my sanity?'. Additionally, you'll encounter Angels, allies who can be rescued and escorted. How you handle these celestial beings directly impacts the campaign path, opening story branches and even allowing them to be recruited for future missions. With a modular board that changes every game and a dice-based combat system, the experience is dynamic, tactical, and visually stunning thanks to the chibi miniatures.
